Golf enthusiasts will find an idyllic 18-hole course only a short drive away near lake Attersee. The par 71 course excites with its strategic design, tricky obstacles and a majestic view over the lakeside area. Other golf courses are found nearby in Regau and in Weyregg am Attersee.

Hiking & Biking

Endless field tracks throughout the countryside can be explored by foot or by bike. Mountaineers and hikers will find many hiking trails and climbing opportunities on the eastern shore of the lake Attersee, for example Höllengebirge, Gahberg or Eisenau, just to name a few.

Lake Attersee attracts divers from all around the world for many years. Diving schools offer a diverse and exciting range of activities in the deep blue water of the lake: river diving, technical diving, winter diving, beginner courses, guided tours and of course apnoea diving.

Water Sports

Our hotel is an ideal home base for sailors, fishermen, divers and surfers. The lake is very popular among sailors for the so-called “rose wind”. These north-easterly winds will carry water sports enthusiasts on their boats and surfboards over the Caribbean blue water.

Winter Sports

Explore the winter wonderland around the lake while hiking through the snow, on cross-country skis or on the skiing slopes. The small but beautiful ski area of Kronberg is only a few minutes’ drive away. Ice skating and curling are quite popular here in winter, too.

The time before and around Christmas is celebrated very traditionally. Visitors will be enchanted by the atmospheric and romantic Christmas markets with its glistening lights, seasonal crafts and treats. Many other traditional events take place at this time of the year and are definitely worth a visit.
